What is The Amp?
Ben Russell's gift to the community, Lake Martin Amphitheater was built in 1998 by Russell Lands, Inc. on a bluff overlooking beautiful Lake Martin. It is managed by Lake Martin Arts Council, a 501c3 organization, to provide entertainment, art and cultural events for the Lake Martin community.

Throughout the course of the year, events attract thousands to the Lake Martin area. The amphitheater’s family-oriented, feet-in-the-cool-grass atmosphere is the ideal setting for a variety of entertainment opportunities. The venue’s many events include Memorial Day and Labor Day concerts, Alex City Jazz Fest and the amazing Fourth of July Fireworks Blast.
